Changes are coming

I've been really stressed out for the past few weeks and it all came to ahead the past few days. Let me start off though by saying I'm a worrier. I worry about everything and everyone, whether I can control the situation or not. So naturally now that I'm entering my third year of college I've turned my attention to worrying about my future. But in the scheme of my stressing its not whats to come in the next two years- I know what I want. But there lies the problem. I know what I want, and I want it now. I want to be living in New York. I want to be a writer. I want to have a cool fun life that I love. I don't want to have to wait.
I also came to the realisation over the past few days that I'm unhappy. I don't like my life. I feel its boring. I look at everyone elses life and think "Wow that's so cool, I want to do that" but I cant and I don't mainly because people around me are holding me back. I spend too much time online and the likes being jealous of other people instead of doing something with my life. I rely on other people to make me happy and when they don't, which regularly happens, I get really upset.
Last night when I was lying in bed really upset because someone close to me let me down, again, I decided fuck it I'm sick of this. I cant sit here expecting things to happen. I have to make it happen. Which is what I'm going to do. I've started making lists of things I want to do in life and a list of how I'm going to turn my life around because our time here on earth is short and we only get one chance-theres no point regretting what we didn't do, I'd now rather regret doing something and saying that I at least tried. So that's what I'm going to turn this blog into-How I'M Going To Get My Life In Order.
The list above, wanting to live in NYC, be a writer, be happy and loads of other things, I cant make them all  happen right now but some things I can make happen and I will.

So yes I admit I've been slacking on this blog, not sure anyone cares but anyway I'm back. The reason I haven't been blogging on this account was because I completely forgot my password....again. I was a bit shocked though when I realised that my last post was nearly 3 months ago. Where is the year going?

I love me some Taylor Swift and I'm not ashamed to admit it! She's totally my idol. I was super lucky to get the opportunity to see her live in concert a few weeks back and she was amazing. Taylor gets a hard time over her music but I think its relatable. One thing I do think though is that Taylor releases the wrong singles. She has some great songs that most people haven't heard because they weren't released as proper singles! So heres a run down of the songs I think Taylor should have or should still release!

Room Inspiration

I'm currently in the midst of studying for my exams and re-decorating my bedroom. Both are pretty stressful! I'm keeping my wallpaper but redoing the rest of the room. I'm attempting to do a Marie Antoinette/ Blair Waldorf style room but as always I have too many ideas so its hard to decide on what to do. Here's some pictures that I'm drawing inspiration from.

Interview With Gabriela Arciero

Everyone take note of up and coming country band The Lunabelles now because I guarantee they’re gonna be big. The lovely Gabriela Arciero, who plays drums and percussion in the band, was kind enough to give us an exclusive insight into her makeup bag and wardrobe.

Who’s makeup bag would you most like to raid? Kim Kardashian

Whats been your biggest beauty mistake? My biggest mistake was probably the time I dyed my hair blue haha. Never try to bleach your hair more than once in a day!

Do you have a beauty philosophy? No, not really. Beauty is something you should have fun with and never be afraid to try  new things! Nothing is off-limits.

Who’s your beauty icon? Marilyn Monroe & Megan Fox

What skin care products do you use? I use different St. Ives scrubs and Noxema.

You travel a lot so whats the one product that you always have to bring with you? If I’m flying it’s always important to have a good moisturizer.

How would you describe your day-to-day make up look? It depends on my mood  but a staple for me is the Marilyn Monroe  eye, that kind of retro, cat eye look.

How do you like to do your make up when you’re preforming? For stage I’ll go a little more dramatic but nothing too drastically different from my everyday look.

Ever bought a product you wish you could return? I’ve made the mistake of purchasing foundation that’s too dark, very annoying!

Whats on your beauty wish list? I love the new Sally Hansen press on sticker nails!  I want one in every pattern 

You’ve had a lot of different hair colors. Whats been your favorite so far? I like the blonde but it’s harder to maintain. I’m enjoying being a red-head and promise to stick with this color!….for a little bit :p

What color did you use this time? I love doing my hair myself, this time I chose “Hot Tamale” by Garnier.

Any idea what color you’ll go for next? I’m going to try to keep this color, but I might try to add some blonde in there at some point 

What hair products could you not be without? I could never be without my Kerastase products, they are the best!

How would you describe your fashion sense? funky, a little rock…and some days very girly 

Where do you like to shop? Topshop, Betsy Johnson, Guess, Forever 21…

Whose dress sense do you admire? Blake Lively always looks gorgeous!

Whose your favorite designer? Betsy Johnson

Whats your favorite item from your own wardrobe? I couldn’t pick only one thing, but I have a couple of dresses I absolutely love.

And finally, if money where no limit what would you buy? I’d buy my dream car, a beautiful little house and lots of shoes!
